Chairman´s message

Welcome to the official web site for the Scientific CME Workshop „Population Genetics in Clinical Nephrology“, which will take place on 25-26 September 2015 at the University Hospital Regensburg and is supported by the ERA-EDTA’S WGIKD. 

In a total of 11 hours of interactive lectures and hands-on-workshops this scientific workshop covers the methodology, state of the art results and clinical applications of genetic epidemiology of common kidney disease.

International expert scientists in Nephrology, genetic epidemiology and systems biology will present the state of the art in their field and discuss results and future perspectives with participants.

Please note:

  •  Participation is free, but registration via this web site (“Registration” tab) is a must,
    since there is a limited number of participants
  • Special hotel rates are available if you refer to “Uniklinikum” when booking your room
    (see “Accommodation/travel information”)
  • Travel Grants are available from the ERA-EDTA and from the Organizer and can be applied for here

  • The European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) has accredited the workshop with 9 UEMS points.
    The Bayerische Landesärztekammer has accredited the workshop with 9 CME points.
